libbarcode-code128-perl software package provides Perl library to generate CODE 128 bar codes, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libbarcode-code128-perl
libbarcode-code128-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libbarcode-code128-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libbarcode-code128-perl *
You will get with libbarcode-code128-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
